Restavracija Fresco

Nice Restaurant and very friendly. We've been here twice and the food is really tasty especially pasta, my Son like Pizza it is good to visit and try from Menus.

The food was delicious. As a student on boni, this is one of my favourite places to eat so far. I didn't take photo from my spinach soup but it was also good. I even got dessert, which looked so simple but it was really delicious as well. And all this for only 5€!

We went out a bit late for a Ljubljana dinner and several places had stopped serving food at 9 pm. We were staying at the Intercontinental and had noticed this restaurant on our walks. Despite reviews, we took a chance and honestly had a delightful dinner. My husband had chicken fried with fries, plentiful and a tasty mayonnaise. I had the Fresco Turkey and it it was fresh and tender. Our server was efficient and didn't hesitate to seat us at 9:30, which was appreciated.

Great local restaurant that serves good food for very reasonable prices. I had the octopus salad which was good and seafood pasta which was excellent. They stayed open late and even though they close at ten welcomed me at 930 pm.

Super restaurant. Fast service, first class food, large portions. Service is so courteous and polite that any luxury restaurant could learn from it. You really can't ask for better when you want to eat in the area.

Up the hill from Lake Bled is this wonderful restaurant set under a large patio awning. The waitstaff is very professional and friendly. It feels like fine dining, but in a more casual atmosphere. My husband and I shared the Burrata appetizer which is served with arugula, cherry tomatoes and chopped pistachios on a bed of pesto. I had the veal wiener schnitzel and he had the chicken breast risotto. Our dishes were sizable portions, carefully presented and well-seasoned. This one was a memorable meal. So memorable that we returned a few days later. On our second go-round we again had the Burrata. It was different from the last time, this plate had more tomato and less pesto, so perhaps the kitchen staff wasn’t the same. A steady rain had started and the staff were scrambling to remove cushions and relocate the patrons seated under dripping awnings and patio umbrellas. Even the Chef came out from his pizza oven area and helped. That evening, my husband ordered the veal roast with polenta and I had the beef tagliata, 3 pieces of well-marinated grilled meat. We also had a bottle of Chardonnay Rebula, I find that the Slovenian wines are very much to my taste. Every one of the 4 entrées we tried was a generous portion and very tasty. The food here was outstanding and I heartily recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Bled at dinnertime.
